Concrete skeleton

The implementation of a concrete frame is one of the essential stages in the construction of any building project, in which the main structural parts of the building, such as columns, beams, slabs and foundations, are completely and robustly constructed. Due to its strength, durability and high resistance to various environmental conditions and loads on the building, the concrete frame is one of the common choices for tall, commercial and residential buildings. This type of frame is especially considered in areas with a high risk of earthquakes and fires, because concrete can resist these factors well.

The implementation of a concrete frame is not only essential for the strength and safety of a building, but also has a direct impact on the construction process and project completion time. The more carefully and precisely the design and implementation of a concrete frame is carried out, the higher the building will be in terms of safety, energy efficiency, and technical capabilities.

In this process, reinforced concrete (a combination of concrete and steel) is used to effectively distribute the weight of the structures and prevent cracking and settlement of the structure. Using modern technologies and advanced machinery, the concrete skeleton construction operation can be carried out accurately and quickly.

Steps for implementing a concrete skeleton

  • Land preparation and foundation: The first stage of concrete skeleton construction is land preparation and foundation. In this stage, excavation is done and then the foundation or foundation of the building is created according to the execution plans so that the structure can properly bear the weight of all parts of the building.

  • Formwork:
Metal or wooden forms are made to create concrete structures such as columns, beams, and slabs. These forms play an important role in shaping the concrete and maintaining its stability as it hardens.

  • Reinforcement:
In this stage, reinforcement or rebars are placed inside the forms accurately and in accordance with the execution plans. Reinforcement strengthens the concrete and increases the resistance of the structure against various stresses and loads.

  • Pouring Concrete:
After the molds and reinforcement are prepared, concrete is poured into the molds using special concrete pump or mixer machines. This step must be done carefully so that the concrete is evenly placed in the molds and no voids or weak spaces are created in it.

  • Curing Concrete:
After pouring concrete, it must be stored in specific conditions to ensure proper curing. This step helps prevent cracking and spalling of the concrete. Curing usually involves keeping the concrete surface moist and controlling the temperature.

  • Removing the forms and completing the structure:
After the concrete has hardened and the curing process is complete, the forms are removed. At this stage, the columns, beams, and slabs take their final shape and the construction of the concrete skeleton is completed.

  • Testing and Quality Control Tests:
To ensure the quality and strength of concrete, tests such as concrete compressive strength testing are performed to ensure that the structure is ready for loading.
